Here at Take This, we’re extraordinarily fortunate to be surrounded and supported by an incredible community of gamers, game developers, educators, and mental health professionals. Before, our community came together and rallied around major events like PAX and GenCon. Now, the community continues to exemplify kindness, acceptance, empathy, and hope. We are so excited to share that the Take This community now has a digital space of it’s very own to meet, relax, help one another, and connect over a love of games.
It’s dangerous to go alone: Announcing the Take This Community Discord!
You can look forward to a welcoming and supportive community, game nights and more.
Creating an online space for Take This supporters, volunteers, fans, and everyone in between has been a long-time organizational goal. Being connected with the Take This community is one of the most rewarding parts of the job but creating a community space that reflects our values is a responsibility we take seriously. Along with the launching of the Take This public discord, we’re happy to announce that Kelli Dunlap, aka HeyDocotorK, has taken on the role of Community Manager. In addition to being a licensed psychologist, game designer, and manager of the Take This Streaming Ambassador program, Kelli brings a wealth of community management experience, dating all the way back to Halo 2 eSports. If you have any questions about the Take This community discord, please contact us.
See you on Discord!!
